What do you enjoy most about being in your job role?
What do you enjoy most about being in your job role? This kind of piggybacks off the question, "What skills are most important for your job?" As I mentioned before, learning how to learn was the most important skill.
The answer to what I enjoy most about this role is simply the learning. When I started at this company two and a half years ago, this was my first role at a tech company, specifically an operations role. I didn't know what to expect.
I had some basic skills and experience, but pretty much everything else was entirely new. It was all net new information and net new experiences for me. Being able to learn so much on the job and then looking back to see how much I've grown and progressed in this role has been the most fulfilling aspect.
Looking towards the future, I'm excited about the potential to further uplevel my skills and expose myself to more challenges and new ways of thinking about how to run a good, successful business. These things are only made better by the fact that I work with really great people day in and day out.
I also have good support systems in my manager and my team. We're all trying to build something valuable for other organizations. When all these things align perfectly, it makes the process of learning and self-development even more enjoyable.
