What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?
What I enjoy most is that every single day, all the hours, the long days that I put in, it truly is making a difference. I feel like I am not wasting my life. I am not making someone else more money. I am in a career that is helping society.
I'm getting my hands dirty. I'm not just saying do this or do that; I am truly in the trenches. I am a role model for my students.
For me, that places a lot of responsibility on how I live my life. It makes me feel like I need to be a better person. I have a drive for the future generation, and I want to ensure a better world for them too, as an adult.
I get to put a smile on people's faces, and that is so rewarding. I can spread a little bit more joy in this world because we all need it.
