What are your main responsibilities within your current role?

I am a Senior Talent Acquisition Manager. My responsibility is to own the entire recruiting process and candidate relationship for every business function in the US for my company, whether that is sales, marketing, customer success, engineering, or business operations.

I partner with our C-Suite, vice presidents, and essentially all leadership and stakeholders involved in the hiring process. We strategize our needs, understand the full scope of work for the position we're hiring for, advise on different compensation packages, and ultimately find and recruit the best fit.

In the industry, we refer to this as full lifecycle recruiting. I am responsible for building both a reactive and proactive pipeline of prospective candidates. That starts with initial contact, whether I found them online or they sent me an application.

I am the first point of contact at Data Dome, the company I currently work for. It's my job to understand the candidate's experience in depth, understand their motivations or career goals, and essentially see if they're a fit.

Owning the candidate relationship, I coordinate all interviews with myself and other stakeholders. If we decide to hire them, I am responsible for negotiations until an offer is officially signed.

Recruiting ebbs and flows. There are times when we're hiring aggressively and times when it might be a little lighter. When it is lighter, my focus transitions to more employee retention. I focus on employer branding, diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, and help stand up our learning and development arm.
