What does a day in the life of an in-house graphic designer look like?

At the beginning of most days, I look at all the open projects and work with my team, checking in. This is something I think a lot of positions do.

I answer emails and handle administrative tasks. Then I prioritize projects, deciding which ones need to be completed sooner.

I delegate tasks to the appropriate team members. The rest of the day is spent working on the computer, often using Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

We also use SketchUp for 3D work, or sometimes website coding. At the end of the day, I check back in and flag anything that needs follow-up.
