David, what does a day in the life of a VP of sales look like?
I start the day with a quick huddle with the team. We go through daily tasks and deliverables.
Throughout the day, I'm pretty much on call, trying to help in any way I can. This includes joining and assisting with meetings or helping with clients and prospects.
I also work across departments with different divisions, primarily with credit, to make sure we're aligned on deal structures. I offer potential training or insights to help my team.
At the end of the day, we generally do a daily debrief. We audit the day's results, compare them to what we planned, and lay out the plan for the next day to see what we can do better.
