What is one lesson that you have learned that has proven significant in your career?

The thing that separates the best engineers from everyone else is really passion. Talent's important, but over time, the person who is working on weekends, who's building apps in their spare time because they love it, they're just going to learn a lot more.

This is compared to the person who leaves at five o'clock to go home and play video games or whatever it is they do. So if you can love it, whatever it is you're doing, over the long term that's just going to make you happier and way better than all of your peers.
