What skills are most important for a job like yours?
Skills? I think it's good to go in with some experience in laboratory research. If you're an undergrad or even in high school, there are usually opportunities to go in and learn different skills.
It's really nice to learn those when you're younger because you're more of a student and will get more help. As you progress, you're expected to be more independent.
So, it's nice to really get techniques under your belt. There are many different types of techniques, so it's good to learn as many as possible. Some of the skills you learn from one can be applied to another. I think that's something that's definitely good to know.
