What does a day in the life of an associate director of contracts look like?

At this point in my career, I mostly focus on solving really hard problems. This involves not only making staffing decisions and training employees, but also being responsible for their success.

In practice, this means I help them work through problems they can't solve on their own. They also use me as a sounding board to play Devil's Advocate with. I spend most of my days and time doing exactly that.

Additionally, I am responsible for cultivating strong customer relationships. This ensures we meet our customer commitments and helps solve problems that reach my level. At a high level, that is what I do.
