What are your main responsibilities within your current role?

I oversee three different departments: ticket sales, ticket operations, and fan experience. My department has about 25 people, split between these three divisions.

My role and the time I spend on each area depend on the time of year. On the ticket operations side, we build all the manifests, set pricing, get everything online and ready for sale, and create all the marketing promotions.

Separately, we have a 16-person ticket sales team focused on group sales and selling suites across our 14 markets. This involves managing the team, ensuring they have leads, working through proposals, closing accounts, and making sure clients have a great experience on-site.

Lastly, there's our fan experience department. Our league's season operates differently: none of our teams have specific geographic locations. We have eight teams that play in 14 different stadiums across the country.

Our fan experience team is responsible for everything that takes place around the stadium. This includes building and bringing to life a large fan festival area outside the stadium and managing a giant beer garden. We also handle anything on the field that is not part of the actual gameplay.

Our goal is to manage this team, stay within budget, and elevate the fan experience beyond what it has been. For those who have attended an event before, we want to ensure there's always something new, unique, and fun for them to try that they haven't experienced at a lacrosse game before.
