What entry-level positions are there in this field that an undergraduate college student might consider?
Entry-level positions in this field are usually pretty standard. We have interns, and every studio has them for production teams. There are also PA positions.
Everyone kind of starts in that entry-level role, which can sometimes be hard right after graduation when you feel ready to do important work. The important work you do as an intern or a PA is to observe, learn, meet people, and grow your network.
Even if nobody feels like they're living their dream job picking up coffee, taking advantage of the space and people around you is the important thing about those entry-level positions. The people you meet at the beginning are the ones who will help each other as you all move up. So, those early relationships are really important, and you meet those people as PAs and interns.
