How would you describe people who typically thrive in this industry?

People who thrive in technology are naturally inquisitive. They want to understand how the technology actually works. My role is in partnerships, on the commercial side of our business. I don't know how to code or work in product management, nor do I have expertise in those areas.

However, you still need to be inquisitive and want to understand how things work. That's what will make you successful in describing how the technology functions. This is especially important when talking to partners and explaining why your system might be more competitive.

Being naturally inquisitive allows you to stay hungry to learn more about the product your team is building, even if you're not the one creating it. Many successful people in tech are natural problem solvers. They are tinkerers or people who look for ways to build something, develop a new product or feature, and test things out.

They tend to be early adopters of technology, always getting the latest gadget or smartphone. They might also be working with the most up-and-coming AI tools. Ultimately, these are people who want to solve problems and naturally seek out that path.
