What skills are most important for a job like yours?

Communication is key. Ideally, I'd want someone who's a go-getter and proactive. They should be someone who, when faced with a challenge, doesn't just get bogged down, but actively addresses the situation.

They should devise a plan before speaking out too soon. Even if you're an extrovert, you want to be strategic in your communication. This means being proactive with whatever you might face.

Creativity is also essential. You have to be creative in different calls, especially if an issue is discussed that you have no prior knowledge of. You need to find a way to relay a quick message that you'll get back to them.

You never want to say "I don't know" or "I've never heard of this before" on a call. Instead, be creative in providing the best customer service for the institution or client.

So, the big three are communication, being proactive, and of course, being creative and curious in anything you do.
