What is one lesson that you have learned that has proven significant in your career?

Looking back, I would say that probably the most important lesson I've learned, both in companies I've worked in and in school right now – I'm an MBA student – is that having the right team is probably one of the most important things to be successful with any project you have or any task.

As April Corner, I had a chance to recruit my team, to choose the people I was going to work with. Later on, as I mentioned, there are so many activities that you have to do together. It's not that you just go home and work on it on your own; you need to work with people.

So, having the right team, I think, is really critical. People that you get along with, people that complement your expertise so we have a greater common knowledge, and people who are invested in your project – people who really see the value in it and want to work on it.

I think that in general, that is my main lesson. The right team makes everything easier, and with the right team, I think that any project is possible.
