What does a day in the life of a product owner look like?
I was working in Scrum, an agile methodology that helps streamline processes. It has several ceremonies that you do as a team.
Every day, the first thing I did was have my daily stand-up with my team. This is a 15-minute meeting where all team members discuss what they did the previous day, their goals for the current day, and any roadblocks they have for their work. We take turns doing this.
As a product owner, I was responsible for helping my team and removing roadblocks they encountered. It was common that after the 15-minute meeting, everyone would continue their work. I would likely have more meetings throughout the day.
I met with people from other teams whose work depended on ours. I also met with users to gather feedback, and I frequently received suggestions on how to improve our product.
I spent time every day capturing all the feedback I was hearing. I tried to materialize it in terms of new features we would build for our product and prioritized them as well.
