What did you do in undergrad to set you up for success in your career?
During undergrad, I was involved in a couple of different organizations that gave me a lot of exposure to influential alumni from USC. I think that truly set me up for success and helped me understand the power of networking.
If I were still in college, I would advise myself to utilize my .edu email address more. Try to set up coffee chats with people who have interesting jobs.
I would encourage you to reach out to students or professionals you find inspiring. I did this a lot during business school, as well as using the network and resources of my professors. Getting to know them really well can lead to unique and lucrative job experiences, especially in such a competitive marketplace.
