What is your biggest challenge in your current role?
The biggest challenge for me is working within a very large global organization. When you think about it, you have to interface, communicate, and follow many different processes that have been in place for over a hundred years at my current company. Trying to implement new ideas can be quite challenging.
When you're surrounded by industry veterans with 15, 20, or 35 years of experience, it's really easy to have your ideas dismissed. One of the challenges I've faced is learning how to communicate, how to speak up, and when to push for my ideas to move forward.
That's really important when you're developing in your career and trying to achieve your goals.
