What skills are most important for a job like yours?
Oh my goodness, flexibility, the ability to deal with ambiguous situations and not knowing all the information. I would say curiosity, asking questions is extremely important, and being personable.
Touring everything is relationship-based. So it's extremely important that you are able to create those relationships and those connections with people. Just being extremely personable and relatable and easy to talk to.
It's helpful, especially when you're questioning expenses. Nobody likes to question someone on a cost when money comes in. It's sometimes really challenging.
So I think bringing a little bit of humanity into the job, where you see beyond the numbers, is extremely important.
