For my role, I specifically went out on the road because I'm traveling. It's making sure that you're advancing cash with locals. You have a basic checklist that you always have day to day.
Then, it's kind of managing any crises that happen in terms of finances. Let's say tour management suddenly needs $5,000 USD immediately. It's about accounting for any artist or tour needs in terms of cash and expenses.
What you're mainly doing is reconciling Amex, so staying on top of that. This can become insane. Being highly organized is kind of day-to-day and just anticipating any problems.
