What skills are most important for a job like yours?

I would say first and foremost, adaptability. You never really know what issues are going to arise on a daily basis. It could be that our DNS records for sending emails happen to be broken, so we need to get in and fix them. It could be that a client is upset with the way a campaign is running; you really never know.

So it's important to have the skill to really think on your feet and sort of have that courage under fire whenever problems like that arise.

Another one I would say is commitment. Given that I do work for a startup, there are many, many days where things are slow and things are looking a little bleak. But it is important to keep your eye on the prize and keep some perspective into what the actual end goal is of starting a company, of helping start a company and grow a company.

So I would say definitely adaptability and commitment are, are probably my two most used skills in my current position.
