What entry-level positions are there in this field that an undergraduate college student might consider?
I would say absolutely, anything in entry-level sales or customer support, customer relations. It's an essential aspect of any growing business to have a strong sales team.
That's where I started in my current role. I think it's a great way to learn as much as you can, as quickly as you can in a growing company.
You're sort of forced to do so. It's not like a larger organization that can afford to foster and train a new hire for three to five months and let them grow into the role.
It is something that you're a bit thrown into the fire with, but it is as rewarding as it is, I guess, uncomfortable in the beginning.
