What does a day in the life of an assistant vice president relationship manager look like?

It depends. Week to week, some days I'm in the office more, looking at loan packages that have been sent over and sizing those accordingly. I send out soft quotes and have meetings with credit to obtain approval in order to issue them a letter of interest.

This letter is basically our commitment that we have interest in doing the loan, subject to full underwriting, of course. So a lot of that includes having those meetings and meeting with new prospects.

I also do networking with different people and help existing clients with their different needs that come up. This can range from them wanting a new deposit account to needing help with their investment portfolio or getting a new loan.

So, it's kind of a combination of all that. Then I attend different networking events and just get out there, developing more relationships with people.
