What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?

I love my students. I know many teachers say that, and it can sound like a cliche. But it truly is.

I absolutely love my kiddos. I think it's one of the most rewarding experiences to play such an important role in a student's life, particularly at the middle school age.

Being able to work with 12, 13, and 14-year-olds, and actually seeing the time and effort I put into my work have effects on them, is amazing.

Seeing them grow and change as people for the better, I think that's probably my favorite part of the work I do. The kiddos are incredible human beings.

They are hilarious, intelligent, and have incredible ideas. I have so much fun with them, and they bring so much joy to my life. I hope I can bring a little joy to theirs.
