What do I enjoy the most about being in my industry? The fact that a lot of positions are work from home. There's a lot of autonomy.
I could work on data stuff whenever I have time; I could work late into the night. So there's a lot of autonomy involved with it, and a lot of work from home options.
Statistics is a hard science; it doesn't change from year to year. Statistics are statistics. So as long as you know statistics and data analysis very well, things aren't going to change much year to year, except for new emerging technologies like AI.
What's also really good about data analytics is you can apply it to almost any industry: healthcare, education, sales, marketing, or any problem you have. You can apply data analysis too, if you have the data.
There's a lot of versatility with data analytics. You could work at a bank, a hospital, or a small business. You can work in so many different places.
