Could you walk me through your career path? Please start with your experiences in college, any internships, or jobs you had before your current role.

I am still currently a college student, finishing my bachelor's after a ten-year gap. I definitely jumped into hospitality, and I worked at Disney World for four and a half years in attractions.

Once I wanted to move on from that, I stuck to hospitality and started working front desk for a resort. There, I fell into an HR position. I was an HR receptionist at the time, and that role really transformed over time into office support and a coordinator.

In that role, I really found my passion for HR. I started doing a lot more employee events and workers' compensation. Recruitment was really the one that stood out for me, the one I knew in the long run I really wanted to hone in on.

Then I found my current company, CYO. I've been with CYO now for over three years, and I started out as a talent acquisition specialist. Over the last three years, I've moved into a senior talent acquisition specialist, or TIS, as we call it. And now I am the talent operations manager.
