What are your main responsibilities within your current role?
In my current role, my main responsibilities are very admin-directed. I receive a lot of paperwork every single day.
I still go through any kind of mail that's a higher level. I make sure that any insurances or state or any kind of communications that come in as they relate to the business are addressed. A lot of times, everything filters through my department first, and I make sure it goes to the right people. I act as a filter for anything that comes in from a business perspective.
Personally, I still handle a lot of mail. For our business, particularly at CCM, we have several things going on. We have subcontracts, different programs, and multiple properties we deal with. I engage a lot with utility companies and vendors.
I support a lot by being a liaison to finance and the operations departments. I feel like I touch on a little bit of everything. I'm very closely engaged with the executives, sea level, and pretty much any board work with the board of directors.
All of this involves making sure anything on an administrative level is handled. This includes voicemail systems and phone lines. I also scope out anything with utilities for all of our properties; we have close to 25 to 30 properties that I touch on every single day.
I monitor utility usage to check for issues like leaks. I engage with every single department to ensure the flow of information is happening on all levels. I can also be a representative of the organization. A lot of times, I go out with the CEO to any kind of event; I just came back from a conference as well.
It's almost all things corporate or business-related. I might be the face, the correspondent, or handle all of that.
