A Day in the Life of a Client Services Manager at AlphaSights
Caroline, a Client Services Manager at AlphaSights, starts the workday by commuting and catching up on emails, followed by a morning meeting with the team to recap projects and priorities; the remainder of the day is described as fast-paced and varied, involving communication with clients and experts, critical thinking about industries, and strategy meetings to improve commercial performance, before ending with an afternoon meeting and sometimes office happy hour. The role is dynamic, because the days "never really looks the same day to day".

What does a day in the life of a manager on the client services team look like?
I wake up around 6:30. I have a dog, so I walk him in the park. Then I head to the office, and my commute takes about 20 minutes.
As I'm commuting, I look at my emails and Slacks. I want to make sure I'm catching up on anything that came in overnight.
I get into the office, and our workday starts at 8. By 8:30, I have a morning meeting with my team. We recap what projects we're working on and what everyone's priorities are for the first half of the day.
The rest of the day varies. It's always different, but it's some combination of talking to clients, talking to experts, emailing, and thinking critically about different industries. I also go to meetings and try to come up with different strategies to improve commercial performance.
I love the fast-paced environment. In the afternoon, around 3:30, we have an end-of-day meeting with my team. We recap what we want to accomplish before the end of the day, and then we wrap up the day by 6. Sometimes we'll have happy hour in the office too, which is fun.
