Could you walk me through your career path, starting with your experiences in college? Did you have any internships or jobs before your current role?
I had an interesting career path that led me to where I am today. Right after college, I joined Teach for America and taught elementary school special education in Nashville.
I was an English major and pre-med in college, so teaching was very different from what I had been studying. After a couple of years, I wanted to shake things up and try my people skills in a more corporate setting.
This is how I ended up at Alpha Sites. I wanted to practice my skills in a new environment. My previous experiences were very people-oriented and focused on collaboration and communication.
I knew I wanted to leverage those skills in the role I was pursuing.
