What did you do in college to set you up for success in your career?
Yes. I was always trying my best to network, and that might sound scary, but I am actually a very shy and introverted person. I was always seeking mentorship, trying to understand from people, whether they were a grade above me or professors, how they got to where they are.
So, I would always be seeking out with curiosity, asking questions, seeking opportunities, and getting internships. I loved being in the classroom, but I also was very aware that I needed to learn outside of the classroom.
So I got internships, got those jobs, learned from others, and just stayed curious.
