What is one lesson you have learned that has proven significant in your career?
One of the main lessons I've learned is that money always comes second to people. If I'm ever in a position where I have to decide between making more money or creating more value for someone and making less money, I'll pick the latter.
People like investing in people and in relationships. This will pay you dividends that you can't even quantify. The doors that will open for you, the deals you'll get, all of that will come from people, not really from money.
Everybody's money is green and has the same value. But the people that you interact with are where true, long-term, immeasurable value will come from. That's where I'm at.
