Calvin, as a member of the LGBTQ+ community, how has that impacted the way you navigate your career?
Being queer and kind of marginalized, I think I've formed closer relationships with my colleagues than I might have otherwise. I think you form closer bonds with people who are also from marginalized communities.
The friends and colleagues I've made have turned into friends. A lot of them have also come from the queer community and other marginalized areas. For me, it just allows me to be a little more open and vulnerable, which is a really nice development.
