What does a day in the life of an advisor look like?

For the companies I advise, about a third of my time is spent working directly with the people at that company. This involves individual meetings or participating in advisory board sessions.

My role is to listen to their current strategies and challenges, offer input, and share my market expertise to guide their efforts.

Another third of my time is dedicated to networking. I leverage my connections to benefit the companies I work with, aiming to make valuable connections.

This might mean I personally seek out market knowledge they need or connect them with individuals who can offer deeper insights.

The final third of my time is focused on lead generation and fundraising. This includes securing funds for companies, assisting with their fundraising decks, and actively generating leads for potential revenue.
