What skills are most important for a job like yours?
The most important skill for my job is 100% Excel skills. It's crucial to be able to work in Excel files, write complex formulas, and ultimately build very dynamic models.
So, if you plug in a number, it needs to be able to adjust the entire model. I would say understanding real estate kind of comes with experience and just doing your own research.
But if you don't know how to build a model and work within a model, I don't think you would have a strong chance at getting hired. Ultimately, it's definitely something that you need to work at. It's the most important skill because I work in Excel probably 90 to 95% of the day.
