What does a day in the life of an acquisitions associate look like?
First thing in the morning, I typically read the news. Some of it is high-level news on the economy, politics, and world news.
Then I dive deeper into real estate-specific news and anything happening within New York City that's real estate related. I'll go through my emails to see if there are any new deals I need to underwrite or new models to update if we receive new information.
I also work with our interns, whom I manage and delegate tasks to as needed. Additionally, I handle investor reporting. If it's the end of the month or quarter, I typically put together the reports that we send to our investors.
