Could you walk me through your career path? Start with your experiences in college, any internships or jobs you had before your current role.

I went to school at UC Santa Barbara and studied English primarily. I also took a lot of film studies classes throughout my time there.

I was still exploring what I wanted to do. Near my senior year, I thought I wanted to go into publishing, so I did the professional editing minor. I had some internships as an editor and as a content writer.

I found that interesting, but it wasn't until I graduated that I realized I wanted to work in film and TV. My college experience taught me some fundamentals in writing and creativity. I think I learned a lot of my experience on my feet as I was working in production.

I moved to LA about two years after I graduated. I got my feet wet, joined some free work, and did some small productions. Eventually, I landed a job as a production assistant on a Marvel show. It involved a lot of networking and just seeing what was out there and going for it.
