Right now, what have you learned about this role that you wish someone had told you before you entered the industry?

Before entering this role, I wouldn't have wished I was told something, but rather something I've learned. This applies not just to sales, but to life in general. Every day is a new day, bringing new opportunities.

It sounds cliché, but especially with objection handling and the daily challenges an SDR faces, you have to confront adversity head-on. There's no sugarcoating it, and no hiding from it.

If you can keep moving forward, that's the biggest lesson I've learned in the last few months. I don't think anyone needed to tell me this, but you need to experience the day-to-day grind firsthand to truly appreciate it.

That's what I wish I had been told. But you'll learn as time goes on. If you're ever in an SDR role, this is definitely the case.
