I'd say most are pretty type A. You have to be very organized and proactive.
You also need to be someone who is very curious. You have to want to understand more about the company. Go past the first layer, look at the finances, and consider the story presented in the marketing materials.
You get company overview materials to evaluate the business, but they're never going to include the negative aspects. So, you have to want to dig deeper and figure out what those are. You need to find them when they're not being advertised.
