What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?
A lot of things, but one of the main reasons I switched to project management from architecture was to be involved in a project from beginning to end. This means from the very initial concept all the way through completion and seeing it built is very rewarding.
For me, coming from an architecture background, the construction phase is always something I enjoy. It's where you're tracking budgets, schedules, and everything else.
Then, during construction, you actually get to see things come to life. All the work you've done to stay on track is the result of your hard work. This includes the design process, figuring out contracts, and everything else.
It's all part of the end goal of delivering a project to the client and ultimately seeing it be used. That's probably what I like most.
