What are your main responsibilities within your current role?

Considering I am a full-time MBA student, I don't have a job right now. I will share my last job as a product manager at Acer Computer.

I worked as a laptop product manager at Acer. I mainly had two kinds of responsibilities. The first was to develop new products, and the second was to handle customized orders.

These two types of jobs were very challenging. For customized orders, I needed to understand the customers' needs deeply and negotiate with the engineering team to see if we could produce the order.

The challenge with developing new products was primarily because, during the process, I had to go through many technical details. Since my background wasn't in a technical or engineering field before, in many situations, I didn't really understand what they were talking about.

So, I had to improve my negotiation skills and learn a lot of technical things during my job.
