Biggest Challenges For Customer Success Manager at Health Tech Social Services
Avery's biggest challenge as a Customer Success Manager at a mission-driven health tech company is the patience required to see large-scale impact; the work, while impactful ("getting clients onto the platform, meeting their success goals"), unfolds slowly, requiring "a lot of patience" to connect daily tasks to the overarching mission of creating "healthier communities."

What is your biggest challenge in your current role?
I do think the biggest challenge in working with mission-driven organizations, especially ones looking at really big-picture goals, is sometimes feeling like a turtle on a marathon racetrack. You are making progress; you are getting clients onto the platform and meeting their success goals. But it can take a long time to start to see that big impact.
Our big mission at Unite Us is to create healthier communities and a fully connected care coordination space. To do that takes time. We have to get people on our services and platforms and get them using them effectively.
We've got to get through the initial bumps and grooves that come with learning new software, and we have to grow the market. All of that takes time. So sometimes people who want to hit the ground running and start seeing impact day one need a lot of patience.
There has to be patience to see the bigger picture and place the really small things you do into the puzzle that is the overall picture.
