Transcript
Audrey, as someone who identifies as a woman of color, how has that identification impacted how you navigate your career?
"Obviously, a lot of people in the business world don't look like me. So I've learned that I have to advocate for myself and take up space where I need to.
I've noticed for women of color, it's different than for some other people. They kind of trust them until they drop the ball. For a woman of color, you have to prove yourself.
Because of that, I've tried to be very prepared and always show up with my best. But I would say, advocate for yourself. Find mentors, especially mentors that look like you, who are going to advocate for you as part of your career."
