Curious, I think, is the main thing. Being able to ask a lot of different questions about communications in the field is important. I think a lot of people who come to communications or PR didn't necessarily start as trained professionals in those areas.
So, people who are willing to learn on the job are very important. Innovation and creativity are also crucial skills. People who are willing to think outside the box are highly valued.
Additionally, being able to manage your time effectively is key. People with great time management skills and attention to detail are a big asset. I think this is true of most jobs, but especially so of this one.
