Favorite Parts of Working in the Marketing Industry as a Marketing Associate

Antonio enjoys that marketing at the Knauss School of Business blends their passion for visual creativity, stemming from their filmmaking background, with the fast-paced, accessible nature of modern social media marketing where "you get to see your results pretty quickly," which is more rewarding than the long turnaround times of the film industry. The role allows someone to be "visually creative" and put out content on a faster basis.

What do you enjoy most about being in your industry?

I think the thing I enjoy most about being in my industry is that it's still a mix of my previous passion, which was filmmaking. It feels a little bit more timely and modern, and more accessible to people.

Everyone's on social media, whether it's Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, or TikTok. Everyone's got something. I really like that I still get to be visually creative.

I also like that I get to put out content on a much faster basis compared to if I was working in the film industry. Those are very long turnarounds; you work on sets for a very long time and then you don't see the finished product until six months or a year later.

With this, you get to see your results pretty quickly, so that's very rewarding.
