What have you learned about this role that you wish someone had told you before you entered the industry?

Communication is key. In my first couple of projects, it became clear that not everyone was informed when changes were coming, or when we were trying to implement a new process or initiative.

It's important to do your stakeholder assessment at the very beginning. Ensure you've captured everyone who will be involved or impacted by what you're rolling out. Then, communicate status updates throughout the process.

This way, you're not just reaching out months later saying, "Hey, we're rolling this out. Good luck." Making sure everyone is aware as you go through the steps is crucial.

I learned some hard lessons in my career about this. Looking back, many issues could have been resolved with effective communication.
