What entry-level positions are there in this field that an undergraduate college student might consider?
There's a variety of entry-level positions. The most common ones are within the biosciences. We also have an extensive internship program with local colleges, recruiting heavily from the Cal State and University of California systems.
Many who enter have expertise in microbiology or biotech. However, you can enter in different capacities as well. To support their work, you still need engineers, people who know how to move products, and those skilled in supply management.
So, all of those roles are available. The most common entry-level roles are for bioscience professionals who start as doers and then move up to manage those doers.
Whether you're in quality assurance, quality control, or manufacturing, you still need a baseline understanding of the science. Then you need someone like me to help you get to where you need to be.
