Q10: Entry-level positions

What entry-level positions are there in this field that an undergraduate college student might consider? We have what are called internships where people come into the office and learn what we do on a variety of scales. They are paid internships, and we make sure that people are compensated for their time.

Some people who want to be outside also take construction jobs. Girls and guys both do that and really learn how to build things with their hands. This allows them to see the building blocks of what we're drawing behind the scenes.

Most people do an internship in an architecture office just to see what scale of office they like and if they like it at all. A lot of people feel they like the construction industry more, or engineering more. So, it's just a good way to dip your toes in.
