What do you enjoy most about being in your industry?

Here are two things I enjoy most about being in my industry. I work in a pharmaceutical company, and I really appreciate knowing that my company and the teams I work with are helping patients improve their lives.

At the end of the day, I can sign off knowing that the work I do is a good thing. While I don't feel this every day, as I work in technology and data, it's something I can hang my hat on and feel comforted by.

The second thing is the cutting edge, complexity, and novelty of the marketing technology or ad tech industry. It moves lightning fast with seismic changes happening every year, maybe even every month.

Although it's sometimes stressful, like figuring out how to activate a campaign without a specific audience due to privacy regulations, it keeps you on your toes and things fresh. It is challenging, but these changes also bring innovation.

What comes with these changes is the innovation, ingenuity, and creativity that emerge from this industry. I can't take credit for these, but it's nice to be in an industry where you see that play out and develop every week, month, and year.
