What did you do in undergrad to set you up for success in your career?
I majored in marketing, so I think that definitely helped give me a baseline understanding of what marketing was about and the industry at large. The experience of jumping right into it is definitely what helps.
The internship experience I did have was valuable. I also think relationships helped a lot. The relationships you create with your undergraduate peers and friends really go a long way.
Think about it in 10 years after you graduate, you might see a LinkedIn connection with them and they're doing well. It's a connection you have. If you were nice to them, or you chilled with them, or went out, studied together, or took tests together, that goes a long way.
Remember you can't force those relationships. You're friends with people, and those connections naturally develop. I think relationships really help, and their potential really grows every year after undergrad.
