What have you learned about this role that you wish someone had told you before you entered the industry?
That's a very good question. I wish someone had told me it would take 40 years to get to this role. If I had known it was going to take 40 years, I would have thought twice about it.
But I'm glad I made it this far. The amount of time, effort, long hours, travel, and everything else it took was a lot.
It's particularly hard for women to stay in this industry. That's why there aren't that many women; you get busy with other things in life.
But it's great. I'm really proud that I was able to stay in it and keep going.
