How would you describe people who typically thrive in this industry?
I would say people with a strategic mindset have to do a lot of long and short-term planning. Then, they need to break it down into tactics as well. They also need to find a way to track and report on it, and execute on their KPIs. So, being strategic definitely helps.
The other thing I would say, and I think I mentioned that before, is emotional intelligence. You are working with so many people on a daily basis. Your team is huge, you work with clients, you work with your internal team on projects. Being able to listen and find a way to work collaboratively with so many different people at the same time is definitely important.
