What skills are most important for a job like yours?
I would say emotional intelligence and being able to build relationships and listen are crucial. When I first joined, I thought it was all about your technical skills. If you delivered results and sales, you were considered the best marketer, and everyone would think you were doing a great job.
Later on, I realized it's not just about that. It's really about understanding every client's needs and fulfilling them. The same applies to working with your team.
Then, I would say taking initiative and being curious is really important to grow in your field. Lastly, I would say creativity is also essential. I believe you will develop your creativity in this role because you're seeing so many different campaigns and testing them.
You're getting results, and you see what other people are working with, which inspires you and boosts your creativity. When you come into the role with a certain vision of how you would market, for example, certain brands, I think that definitely helps.
